- This 3D animation shows you the basics of the menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle begins with menstruation. Once the bleeding stops, the uterine lining becomes thicker and begins to prepare for the possibility of a pregnancy. Somewhere around day 14, an egg is released from one of the ovaries and begins its journey down the fallopian tubes to the uterus. If sperm are present in the fallopian tube, fertilization can occur. If the egg is not fertilized, the egg breaks down and hormonal changes signal the uterus to prepare to shed its lining, bringing us back to day one of the menstrual cycle.

@@sarahfrancess2981 I use herbs to clean my reproductive system such as cascara sagrada, elderberries, eucalyptus, rhubarb root, prodigiosa, dandelion leaves, tamarind juice. I also changed my eating habits to more veggies and fruits. I have a channel where I teach on herbs I use my experience etc. I will be providing a FREE PDF copy of the steps I took soon.

Follicular is the egg getting matured and travelling through the fallopian tube or is it the thickening of the lining or endometrium?
@@marivicveloso1074 travelling through the fallopian tube happens AFTER ovulation, so not during the follicular phase. Please watch my other video 'menstruation 2/2' if you want to know more about this 🙂

My age is 19 years & I am suffering from menstrual cramps. Every month on the first day of menstruation, I feel like it's killing me. Nausea, sleepiness mild headache are also there with it. I don't have a wish of eating or drinking. It feels like someone is playing tug of war with my ovaries & my ovaries are being squeezed. Could you please tell me ma'am, what to do?
This is totally normal, but can be painful, as you say. Talk to your doctor about starting a contraceptive pill (or getting an IUD, if you would be open to this (see my other video)). This will drastically change your periods, 99% sure that this will help alleviate the pain.

Take meftal spas on first day i sometimes take it 2 at a time it is good fr menstrual cramps . No need to do anythng else it isnt good to start ocps at young age as well as its not necessary if u r married u cn consider it . Use heating pads . Have tea take rest

If sperm are present in the *uterus not the fallopian tube. If sperm fertilizes an egg in the fallopian tubes doesnt that cause an ectopic pregnancy?
No, if it implants in the fallopian tubes = ectopic

As ovum is not motile it doesn't move to uterus insted sperm travels to the fP tubes ,there fertilization occur in the ampula of fp tube ....only then zygote can move from there ....ovum can't...so please have proper information first bcz there r so many students watching this .otherwise nyc animation

im a high school student and in my biology text book it says that lack of menstruation may be indicative of pregnancy. however it may also be caused to some other underlying causes like stress and poor health. i hope this was helpful 🤷♂️
The egg undergoes apoptosis in the FT itself which would be further undergo phagocytosis by macrophage or broken down by neutrophils in the FT itself . So it does not come any where near the uterus .

NONE of these should hurt or be a problem but the human race got very weak in body and also our children's head is way to big usually and also the toxic environment, food that damages our body and also messing up our hormones.
So what causes the pain are complications. Something is not working as it should be.

Hi Mario, no, that's not my own voice. If you want to hear my own voice, listen to one of my older videos (before Dec 2022) - you'll hear my European accent. I combine this youtube channel with my full-time job as a Ph.D. student and a nuclear medicine resident. At one point, I worked so hard that I realized I couldn't keep doing this and that's when I sought help. I decided to pay a professional voice-over to record the videos for me, that's probably why she has such a beautiful voice 😉. However, I still write every script and animate every video 💪😊.

I’m so curious as to what happens in my body since I have irregular period. I was on birth control around 14 - 19 but then I stopped & my period can be off for months and sometimes it can be on for months as well. I once went over 7 months of straight bleeding so what happens with my eggs? Am I not able to get pregnant either? It’s just a lot of questions

@@Sh_rl_y + you should see a doctor and not let them say that your situation is “normal”. before i was diagnosed w endometriosis i heard from a lot of doctors that my situation was nothing to worry about, and that it used to be normal for women to pass out from pain/cramps, and for periods to always be irregular - which is not. it was tough but i got diagnosed last year, please don’t give up until you find out what is happening with you

Normally not. If ovulation happens, there should be a period after two weeks. If your periods are very irregular, you might want to let this checked by a doctor (PCOS?).

You mean during the 5 days of your period? Have you tried pain killers? If you would be open to this, you could try a contraception pill. This will greatly alleviate the period cramps.
